My family and I are fortunate to call Alberta home. I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to achieve the level of skill I have in my trade anywhere else.

Over these years I’ve worked, studied and had lots of hands-on learning. If there was degrees in plumbing/ heating with all humility I could say I’d have my doctorate. I’m still learning as codes, styles, and technology changes every year. I’ve made plumbing/heating my career and I still love it.
A house is in fact a bit like a body. It has different systems that all need to work together. The heating/venting is like the lungs, fresh air has to come in and old air has to go out. The plumbing system has a pressure system like a heart, it pumps water (like blood) to all necessary parts. It can get a bit more complicated than that. I work on all these systems, from the first pipes in the ground to the roof vents. Every system has to work together to have a healthy, well functioning home.

My experience is well varied. I’ve worked on small cabin’s, large custom homes, commercial buildings, new builds, renovations, and almost everything in-between. I’m also a gas fitter so I install gas lines, install fireplaces, wood stoves and have my WETT certificate for wood stove inspections. My varied trade experience has helped me to troubleshoot “unfixable” problems. In fact service work is some of my favorite because of the challenge.
I worked for another company (outside of Alberta) for a very short time. They tried to push me to upsell products to customers and other sneaky things to make more money. I worked there for less than a week! At the end of the day knowing I did an honest hard day’s work still matters to me.
